If you are for the equal rights of men an women. YOU ARE NOT A FEMINIST, you are an Egalitarian.(wiki it)Feminism is the belief that women are better than men, which from how you speak, I can tell is how you feel. Being against sexism isn't being a feminist.

I am running on way too little sleep to deal with this shit politely.

Feminism is the belief that women are EQUAL to men. That we deserve to be treated as people rather than objects designed for sex and domestic work. Nothing in that line of thinking implies that women are in any way better than men. I think men are great. I think women are great. What I don’t think is great is the oppression of either gender by the other. You say feminism is outdated when in fact it is your definition of the man-hating ‘anyone with a penis must be a rapist’ idea of feminism that’s outdated. Don’t tell someone to do their research until you’ve done your own, because this message reeks of fear-based ignorance and misinformation. Come back to me when you’re ready to speak rationally instead of talking down to me and then I’d be more than happy to discuss this civilly with you.

So I’m back on my ‘I desperately want to be a Disney face character’ kick. Do any of you lovelies have any experience or knowledge in that area? I’m just curious to know whether it’s even feasible for me. I know I fit the height requirements, but beyond that I have no idea if my features and body type would make getting the job impossible. Story time!

So I go down to the laundry room to feed my cats, and as I grab a can I notice a mouse chilling in the sink. I let my mom know, and while she’s busy inadvertently performing her own rendition of ‘Put That Thing Back Where it Came From or So Help Me’, I’m fawning over it’s adorable little face because the darn thing looked almost exactly like this:

Finally we manage to get our shit together long enough to punch some holes in a Tupperware container and scoop little Henry up inside so he can be carried to safety. I throw on a pair of flip flops and hustle my butt to the woods a few blocks down, Henry having a spaz in his makeshift cage and my neighbours staring at the crazy girl Olypmic-style speed walk shuffling down the street in PJs with a mouse in a Tupperware container all the while.

Halfway to the woods, I manage to trip over my flip flops, and as I’m tumbling to the sidewalk all that’s in my head is “PROTECT THE MOUSE”, so I end up splayed awkwardly on the pavement holding the plastic-encased rodent above my head like a sports trophy while the rest of me is feeling decidedly less celebratory Everything hurts, but I still manage to get back to my feet and hobble the rest of the way to the woods, where I open the Tupperware lid and Henry races to freedom and ‘Born Free’ plays softly in the background probably. I get back home to find my left hand and knee shredded and bleeding, and have just enough left in me to make it to the upstairs bathroom, sit on the edge of the tub, and clean my wounds before the sight of the blood makes me feel woozy. So now I’m laying on the bathroom floor with my legs up, trying to bandage myself with some Circ de Soleil inspired maneuvers, and all I can do is think about that damn mouse and his stupid adorable face and how I hope nothing big and toothy eats him.

So the moral of this story is that wild mice are dangerous, but not for the reasons that you think.
